According to the Bureau of Meteorology the maximum temperature today for Scoresby (just up the road from where I am) was 8.1c at 14:29 this afternoon. The minimum was 1.1c at 04:13.
Man, that's cold!
As would happen, today is also the day that I'd decided to wash my car. Had the decision not been made out of necessity - I couldn't see diddly-squat out the windows - I definitely would have given it a miss. However, I was brave and went through with it. Luckily frost bite didn't take a hold and all's well that ends well. I got me some sparkling clean windows to boot.
Tomorrow the forecast is 13c with an overnight low of 7c. Given that currently in Scoresby it's reading 7.8c, I'm guessing it's going to be a slight bit colder at the base of the mountains tonight.
