Had my second visit to the gym last night. I did the full workout except I only did 5 minutes (instead of 10) on the bike... I hate the bike. I felt that I'd worked kinda hard so if I keep that going I should get a fair bit out of my sessions. Today I am not even sore which is great. No gym tonight... A day of rest of sorts.
Tonight I have my third visit to the dentist in less then two months. Unfortunately I have neglected my teeth over the past 12 years... Never having actually set foot in a Dental Clinic during that time. All I've had to have over the last couple of months is fillings. Still not good but not as bad as it could have been. I have one final filling to go tonight and then hopefully that should be it for six months. Time for another promise... "I, Kate, promise to go to the dentist every six months!"
After the unpleasantness of the dentist's surgery I plan on immersing myself in the extreme pleasantness of the movie Serenity for the second time. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and I've been obsessed with all things Serenity or Firefly ever since. So much so, that I had to stop myself purchasing a Captain 'Mal' Reynolds doll from Minotaur at lunch time! lol! Got a book instead! ;)
Having only seen a handful of episodes when it was on free-to-air telly a while back I really didn't have much understanding of the whole Firefly 'Verse. Since seeing the movie I've watched the complete series on DVD. All 14 (Only 14! How much does Fox suck?) episodes at least once, some twice, some three times ('Out of Gas' - love it!). I'm guessing I'll get a fair bit more out of the movie this time around although I don't think my opinion of it could increase any. I thought it was brilliant!
Having created my all time favourite television series, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, as well as Firefly, Serenity & Angel I am truly in awe of Joss Whedon's imagination and talent. If I actually believed in a God I reckon he would be just like Joss!
