Guess What?

MELBOURNE STORM
are in the
GRAND FINAL!!!

Last night, Storm took on the St George Illawarra in the 2ND Preliminary Final.
I admit I was worried.
Real worried.
Part of me didn't think we'd win.
And a rather large part of me.
Another much, much smaller part of me, wasn't worried at all.
This smaller part of me knew we were going to win because:
- I thought I didn't want to have to travel to Sydney next week.
- I thought I was getting to old for this.
- I thought I had so much to do before I leave for the USA in 14 days
- I thought I'd be happy to sit at home in Melbourne watching the GF on TV.
Luckily, I thought wrong on all of the above points, because we did win 24-10, and there is no place in the World I would be rather be next Sunday then in Sydney at Telstra Stadium.

NRL GRAND FINAL 2006
Melbourne Storm
v
Brisbane Broncos
Telstra Stadium, SYDNEY!

Hey, turns out it really is a 'NATIONAL' competition. It is the first time ever that a Grand Final will not feature a New South Wales team.

As Lisa said:
"You better get ready to have 2006 tattooed on your butt. Here we come!"
