Rugby League will never take off in Melbourne...

Yeah, right...

State of Origin III is officially a SELL OUT.

Yep, a game of Rugby League between two out-of-state teams - Queensland & New South Wales - will be played at a predominantly AFL venue, in a predominantly AFL City - Melbourne - in front of a capacity crowd of 53, 355. Hmm. wasn't there seats left for Origin I in Sydney? Shove that up ya' Sydney!

In Origin, a home ground advantage is everything. You'd think by playing in Melbourne that advantage would be taken away from both team. However, I don't think that's necessarily going to be the case in Melbourne... And it's something that Queensland Coach, Mal Meninga, is banking on.

Attention Queenslanders: Welcome to Melbourne! Make yourselves at home :)
