Emma, Glenn, Tanya and I are off to see the NRL Footy Show at the Channel 9 studios in Richmond tonight. A big 'THANKS' to Melbourne Storm. Should be a great night.

They are broadcasting live from Melbourne.
For the first time since 2000.
For the second time ever.
Unfortunately, channel 9 can't even manage to show it in Melbourne - at all.
The NRL Footy Show is usually screened at around 11:30pm each Thursday night. Okay, I can understand that a lot of people like to watch that damn tennis tournament that's on at the moment but why the frack do we need to see "Letterman", "Entertainment Tonight" and, as much as I do love the show, "Who's line is it anyway?" at 04:00am?
Oh well, I guess you can't please everyone.
It really is a shame. Especially considering that it should be a Melbourne / State of Origin focused show. Sure could have been some nice promotion for both.
EDIT: Footy Show was great fun. Funny stuff. Fatty, Sterlo and The Chief all stayed around after the show for a Q&A session, a quick chat and photo ops. Unfortunately, Matty Johns was nowhere to be seen. I didn't get photos or talk to any of them. For me it was either Matty Johns or no-one. No one won. But I've added "Getting my photo taking with Matty Johns" to the list of 101 THINGS TO DO IN MY LIFE so I'll be doing some serious 'stake-out' work at Olympic Park for the next few home games. Anyway, thank you Melbourne Storm for the tickets.
