It's Officially Winter...

Here in Australia, as of today, it is officially Winter.
In Melbourne, it seems like Winter has been hanging around for at least a month already.

Over in England, as of today, it is officially Summer.
According to Mum and Dad, who are currently in London, it doesn't sound like Summer is anywhere to be seen.

See, it really must be summer over there - London is definitely warmer.

To be fair though, it looks as if London is in for sunny days ahead with the temperature reaching a sweltering 23c on Saturday ;)

However, Mum and Dad will miss out on the London sunshine as they are off to Moscow tomorrow. Much to my surprise - or ignorance - the forecast temperature for today is 26c in Moscow. That's not too shabby. When I think of Russia, I think of thick fur coats, hats with ears and snow. I'm guessing Mum and Dad won't be seeing much of any of that at all.
