Zathura: A Space Adventure
Mum and I went to see Zathura yesterday. The movie is based on the book of the same name, by Chris Van Allsburg. This is the guy who has also had movies made from his books; Jumanji and The Polar Express.
Zathura is along the same lines as Jumanji. Two kids play a game called Zathura: A Space Adventure. However, Zathura is no ordinary game. Things that happen in the game seem to really happen to them - they 'live' the game.
It was exciting and amusing and scary - even I jumped at one point. The actors all did a fantastic job and made it very believable.
The rest of the patrons in the cinema were a mixed bunch, covering all groups. From the laughter and gasps during the movie I think it's safe to say that everyone enjoyed it.

Do you think there will be an IMAX port of this?
In IMAX, a lot of people will be jumping. I found it very entertaining.
